Norway
Wyvern av Aalesund is a replica of the legendary Wyvern, a sailboat that crossed the Atlantic more than a dozen times and sailed around the world. The Wyvern was originally designed by Colin Archer, a beloved Norwegian shipbuilder ― he built the Fram, of polar exploration renown. The Wybern was built for an English couple and launched in 1897.

After many adventures, the Wybern was found in a poor state in Ibiza and then brought back to Norway. Her sailing days far from over, she would cleave the waves for another 40 years or so. However, during the 90s, the Wyvern av Aalesund was modelled after her and now you can brave the waves of the Norwegian Sea with the poetic poise that is only possible in sailboats, in full homage of the great explorers of the watery realms.
