Botswana
On the edge of the Makgadikgadi salt pans, Jack’s Camp is the right place to relive the heyday of exploration and the rugged glamour of golden-day safaris. There is something irresistible about taking a dip in a luxurious tented pool and enjoying the decadent comfort of the camp… in the middle of one of the harshest environments on Earth!

The camp was founded by Jack Bousfield in the 1960s and it is steeped in legend and a landmark in its own right. The ten bedouin-style guest tents rest under the mellow shadow of the molokwane palms that create this delicious oasis. The camp is furnished with quirky excess, with exuberant outfitting, a library, a mess room and the only camp in the continent with a tented pool… and a tea room, just for fun!
GO ON AN AMAZING WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE

But the true pleasure of Jack’s camp is its unique location. From January to April, the Makgadikgadi salt pans feature Africa’s second largest zebra migration and some of the best-looking lions ever. That is all well and good but now imagine riding on horseback alongside the zebras, riding to the salt pans on a quad-bike and getting close ― ridiculously close ― to a mob of meerkats.
